Monday, June 24 through Friday, June 28 - Southwinds Church Vacation Bible School Online Registration Opens

This year's theme is Colossal Coaster World Facing Fear Through Trusting God. Registration is now open so join them for a great week of evening fun including games,crafts,bible lessons and music. 
Where: Southwinds Church is located at 134000 Middle Road near MH. Off Byron Hwy turn left on Reeve then right on Middle Road.
When: 6:00 PM - 8:30 PM
Who: K-6th graders.
How: Register on-line at Southwinds.org or in person at Southwinds Sunday School at 9 or 10:45AM.

Saturday, June 8 - Kite Run 2013

A fun run 5K/10K  thru beautiful MH organized by Mountain House Flag Football. Free kid's fun run (ages 10 and under).
Where: In MH at Central Community Park. Starting location is at Central  Park ( aka the Water Park) at 25 E. Main Street
When: 8:30 AM (5K Start time)
Who: Age divisions 10 and under, 11-15, 16-19. 20-29, 30-39,40-49, 50-59, 60+.
How: You must register ahead of time.
Cost: $30- 5K $35 - 10K includes a T-Shirt. Medals given to top 3 in each age division.

Saturday, June 22 through Sunday, June 23 - Relay For Life of Mountain House

Relay For Life of Mountain House is a 24 hour walking event to raise money in the fight against cancer.
Where: Wicklund Elementary School 300 E. Legacy Drive.
When: 10:00 AM - 10:00 AM (This is a 24 hour event)
Who: Individuals, teams, businesses. Virtually anyone can  participate.

Thursday, July 4 - 4th of July Parade & Picnic

4th of July parade and picnic festivities immediately following at Central Park. A chance to hang out and enjoy your community.
Where: Parade is on Main Street. Fun festivities and picnic are at Central Park after parade.
When: 9:00 AM (Parade usually starts at 9am with festivities following)
Who: Everyone welcome!
How: Find a sport along the parade route on Main Street before 9am.
Cost: Free. There are things for sale at the festivities.

Friday, November 29 - Santa and Mrs. Claus Arrive in MH

Santa and Mrs. Claus arrive in MH. Remember it's on Friday.
Where: MH Wicklund Park Gazebo
When: 4:00 PM - 6:00 PM
Who: Anyone
How: Just come.
Cost: By donation. Pick up your pre-addressed envelope and mail it back to Santa Claus along with your donation. Hot drinks and bake sale items will be available for sale.

At Wicklund School Gym

Feel the beat! Zumba is Tuesdays and Thursdays from 7-8pm at Wicklund School. Women, men and kids can take the class. Your $3 per class or $20 punch card for 8 classes benefits all three schools in Mountain House. There is childcare. Subject to change.
